Catlin is a certified Level 3 Internal Family Systems™ (IFS) Practitioner. Professional training includes, but is not limited to, an intensive IFS workshop with the founder of IFS, Dr. Richard Schwartz, Ph.D, “IFS-Inspired Coaching: Aligning the Inner System” with Brian Joudon and Anna Tansi, and “Accessing and Living from the Self“ with Dr. Schwartz and Loch Kelly. Catlin is also a Certified Professional Life Coach.
She finds great purpose in helping others discover the healing power of their own Self-energy, and the doors that opens up to internal harmony, joy, and self-acceptance.
Some of Catlin's other passions include singing in a community choir, hiking, camping, gardening, painting, literature, languages, spirituality, improvisational movement theater, soccer, squash rackets, and playing frisbee on the beach.
Catlin also has a background in landscape design, documentary filmmaking, street photography, and painting. She received a BS in Communications from Emerson College, Boston, and an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston/Tufts University. And Certification from the IFS Institute.
Catlin’s parents are Australian, but she was born in Paris, and grew up on remote islands in Greece and Spain in old farmhouses without running water or electricity. She left home at age 16 and moved to the United States.
